Park Place Technologies’ Big Bet In Atlanta

The purchase of the CentricsIT assets marks Columbus, Ohio-based Park Place Technologies’ third acquisition in 2022 of a company based in Atlanta.

In June, PPT acquired Atlanta-based Riverstone Technology, a third-party maintenance and support provider specializing in data center optimization.

Park Place acquired Atlanta-based Reliant Technology in March, which focuses on third-party maintenance and support for storage, network, and server devices.

Although PPT is focused on buying Atlanta-based companies in 2022, Park Place supports customers in over 150 countries and has offices in Toronto, London, Singapore and Uruguay, to name a few.

PPT made its first acquisition of the year in February with the purchase of Congruity360‘s Storfirst software platform to strengthen its software portfolio.

Since 2016, PPT has acquired a total of 23 companies.

Benefits Of Buying CentricsIT

Founded in 2007, CentricsIT focuses heavily on IT lifecycle management solutions and professional services.

Park Place customers will benefit from a state-of-the-art professional services portal developed by CentricsIT that provides real-time project status, reporting, and collaboration tools, according to PPT.

PPT’s Project Management Office function will also be enhanced with the addition of Project Management Institute-certified CentricsIT employees worldwide.

CentricsIT current customers, meanwhile, will gain access to PPT’s unique portfolio of products and services, including its automated monitoring and managed services.

Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

CentricsIT is expected to retain its server, storage and networking resale division.

Park Place is a global data center and networking optimization firm established in 1991. The company’s services include third-party data center hardware maintenance, professional services, infrastructure managed services, network performance monitoring and hardware sales.
