The 10 Coolest IoT Connectivity Companies: The 2026 Internet Of Things 50
Here are the 10 IoT Connectivity providers on the 2026 CRN IoT 50 creating a new blueprint for businesses in the AI era.
IoT connectivity providers are ramping up their efforts to provide the robust networking offerings necessary to power a new generation of IoT AI solutions.
The connectivity companies on this year’s IoT 50 have invested heavily in building out their networks to drive the IoT revolution.
Case in point: AT&T’s $5.75 billion deal to acquire 95 percent of Lumen Technologies Quantum Fiber with 4 million fiber locations in 11 states and about 1 million subscribers. The deal expands AT&T Fiber offerings in 32 states.
“It will allow us to accelerate fiber access to millions of new customer locations outside our traditional wireline operating region,” said AT&T CEO John Stankey. “As a result, we now expect to increase our total fiber reach to more than 30 states and approximately 60 million total customer locations by the end of 2030. This is roughly double the amount of AT&T Fiber locations today. We’re looking forward to accelerating an efficient fiber-build engine as we expand our award-winning AT&T Fiber service.”
Among the other IoT connectivity companies breaking new ground are Myriota, which launched AssetHawk, a global asset tracking offering beyond the reach of cellular networks; OneLayer, which teamed with partners Heddian and Druid Software to deliver a unified cellular connectivity and security offering for electric utilities; and Vodafone, which recently teamed with CRN Solution Provider 500 powerhouse CGI on a four-year digital transformation deal to provide Centrica fixed and mobile services, and IT end-user compute services.
VodafoneThree Business Director Nick Gliddon called the partnership a “catalyst” for real change.
“By combining our advanced connectivity, IT services and automation with the collective expertise of Vodafone Business and our partners, we are creating a new blueprint for how businesses can transform at scale,” he said.
