20 Tech Companies Hiring In The IT Channel: November 2023

Red River, Peraton, Iron Bow Technologies, AWS, Siemens and Samsung are among the companies to list open positions for channel-related roles.

This month, Red River, Peraton and Iron Bow Technologies are among the solution providers to list open positions while Amazon Web Services, Siemens and Samsung are among the vendors to list open positions for channel-related roles.

CRN has looked at open listings on LinkedIn that would bring talent into the channel— either by working with a partner or by working with a vendor to support partners.

Open Jobs In The IT Channel

Open roles include:

*A financial analyst at Red River

*An office manager who can make at least $66,000 a year at Peraton

*A tier-one help desk technician at Iron Bow

*A partner development manager who can make at least $73,000 a year at AWS

*A head of digital industries partner sales making at least $159,000 a year at Siemens

*A demand partnership senior manager who can make at least $165,000 a year at Samsung

All the hiring comes despite multiple tech giants cutting their employee rosters amid growing inflation, the possibility of a recession in the near future and tightening IT budgets after high demand for technology during the height of the pandemic.

Here are some of the latest job openings in the channel.

Zebra Technologies

Zebra Technologies has a listing on LinkedIn for a channel account manager to own the North America tablet channel business, with an emphasis on broadline technology resellers (BTRs).

The Lincolnshire, Ill.-based robotics, automation and mobile computing vendor seeks candidates who live in the Central or Eastern time zones, according to the listing. The hire can make at least $68,000 a year.

The manager will “recruit and enable BTRs/partners to sell the Zebra Tablet portfolio across all verticals with emphasis on growing share/ competitive win backs and new solution and adjacent solution areas such as POS,” according to the listing.

Candidates should have more than two years of experience in working for a reseller or selling through channel partners plus at least two years of experience selling tablet-related technology.

Zebra has about 10,000 worldwide channel partners, according to CRN’s 2023 Channel Chiefs.

Zerto

Zerto, part of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), has a job opening on LinkedIn for an account executive (AE) who can make at least $104,800 a year.

The Boston-based disaster recovery vendor wants someone who “works closely with company outside sales, channel partners and/or end customers to move sales opportunities to closure,” according to the listing.

The executive will manage “virtually (by phone, electronically or social media) a set of assigned or acquired accounts” and set “sales strategy for assigned portion of account, territory or industry vertical.”

Candidates should have at least five years of work experience, according to the listing.

About 100 percent of Zerto’s overall sales come through the channel, according to CRN’s 2023 Channel Chiefs.

Sherweb

On LinkedIn, Sherweb has some openings for channel-related positions.

The Sherbrooke, Quebec-based distributor seeks a channel account manager for Western Canada, according to a listing.

The hire will “act as a strategic advisor to our partners: develop and maintain strong relationships with partners, actively participate in various industry events, identify the objectives and needs of partners in order to offer cloud solutions with high added value,” according to the listing.

Sherweb also wants a cloud solution agent who speaks English and French, according to a separate listing.

The hire will be “the main point of contact for all incoming calls, various requests from our customers, which consists of both our direct and partner channels,” according to LinkedIn.

Sherweb has about 7,000 channel partners in North America, according to CRN’s 2023 Channel Chiefs.

D&H Distributing

D&H Distributing has multiple open roles this month, according to LinkedIn.

The Harrisburg, Pa.-based distributor has the following among its job listings:

*Accounts payable accountant—the hire will process “invoices, payments, reconciliations and journal entries as assigned with a focus on specialized accounts payable vendor agreements”

*Senior event planner—the hire “will lead on at least one D&H Tradeshow or Corporate Event and assist the Event Manager and Director in all operational aspects of event planning”

*Small and midsize business (SMB) sales manager—the hire will be “responsible for inside sales reps and activities in a particular region in the the Sales VAR department” and oversee a “$200M+ region and/or customer segment leading a team of 10+ telesales professionals”

*Cisco order entry specialist—the hire will “receive Purchase Orders from customers” and “enter Sales Orders into an Order Management System by typing in the data on the Purchase Order quickly and without mistakes”

D&H has about 25,000 North American channel partners, according to CRN’s 2023 Channel Chiefs.

Amazon Web Services

AWS has several openings related to its work with partners.

The Seattle-based cloud vendor lists the following on LinkedIn:

*Senior alliance manager and partner development manager (PDM)—the hire will “work closely with AWS Sales, AWS Solution Architects and your assigned Advisory/Management Consulting firm partners to identify and conceptualize innovative industry specific solutions that drive transformational change for the industry.”

*Partner development manager for system integration strategic consulting partners, who can make at least $73,000 a year—the hire will “drive partner sales revenue through regular pipeline, opportunity registration and business reviews to manage progress against business plan and core KPIs” and “evangelize a partner’s value proposition internally throughout AWS and externally with customers.”

*Senior manager of solutions architecture (SA) for federal public sector partners—the hire will support “the Federal Partners/SI business development and sales team while owning the technical engagements with customers and solution providers (systems integrators and ISVs), helping to define implementation architectures, responding to RFPs, standing up demonstration and proof-of-concept systems, and achieving ultimate success around specific technical projects.”

AWS has about 100,000 worldwide channel partners, according to CRN’s 2023 Channel Chiefs.

Siemens

Multiple channel-related positions at Siemens have been posted on LinkedIn this month.

The Germany-based industrial technology vendor seeks to fill the following roles:

*Head of digital industries partner sales making at least $159,000 a year—the hire “will lead the nationally based group of Partner Sales Engineers which supports Siemens Automation Channel Partners (distributors, system integrators and solution partners) to sell DI’s Industrial Automation/Drives/Communication portfolio of Products, Solutions and Services to automation end users and machine builders”

*Partner success manager making at least $87,000 a year—the hire will collaborate “with product training, sales enablement, channel sales, and professional services to develop a robust partner enablement and certification program” for Siemens subsidiary Brightly.

*Territory sales account manager making at least $87,000 a year—the hire “acts as interface between the customers, distributors, solution partners and Siemens.”

*Head of channel sales making at least $118,800 a year—the hire “will be responsible for building and managing our indirect channel sales, which includes distributors, value added resellers, lighting agents (Reps), selected OEMs and our own in-house Account Executives.”

*An account manager for low and medium voltage switchgear who can make at least $110,500 a year—this hire “will be responsible for driving project sales with Industrial End-Users direct as well as through Contractors and Channel Partners” and “manage channel partners to achieve sales targets.”

*Director of U.S. chemical, glass and oil and gas industries who can make at least $138,100 a year—the hire “will assist in the development, implementation and execution of an overall Chemical, Glass, Oil & Gas industry US market growth plan, including major accounts, ‘second tier’ accounts, OEM’s, EPC’s, system integrators and channel partners.”

Siemens Digital Industries Software has about 1,800 worldwide channel partners and 160 North American channel partners, according to CRN’s 2023 Channel Chiefs.

Splunk

According to LinkedIn, Splunk has some open channel-related positions this month.

The San Francisco-based security and observability tools vendor has a listing for a regional sales manager for named accounts in the Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas (TOLA) area, according to LinkedIn.

The hire can make at least $248,000 in on-target earning, which is base pay plus a sales incentive plan. The hire will have to “holistically embrace, access, and apply the channel to identify and open new … opportunities,” according to the listing.

Candidates should have “previous experience applying partners, channels, and alliances to sell more efficiently and overachieve your quota.”

Splunk also seeks a regional sales manager for the Northern California state, local and education (SLED) sector, according to a separate listing. The on-target earning for the director is at least $244,000.

The hire will fulfill transactions “through the channel by authorized partners, as such your ability to work with and leverage channel and alliance partners is important,” according to the listing.

Splunk has about 2,400 worldwide channel partners, according to CRN’s 2023 Channel Chiefs.

Samsung Electronics

Samsung Electronics has a couple of open roles related to channel partners, according to LinkedIn.

The South Korea-based electronics vendor seeks a demand partnerships senior manager for the North America Services Business (NASB) organization, according to one listing. The hire can make at least $165,000 a year and work with Samsung’s digital out-of-home (DOOH) products.

The hire will “generate revenue for our DOOH products by enabling our direct sales team, indirect channel partners and all sources of DOOH demand,” according to the listing. Candidates should have “8-10 Years of professional experience.”

Another listing is for a light-emitting diode (LED) territory manager who can make at least $181,500 a year.

The manager will work on “active engagement with our existing and new channel partners across their territories to drive sales of All-In-One & custom LED solutions with key focus on pipeline and market share growth” and “focus on recruiting appropriate channel partners and/or driving LED sales,” according to the listing.

Candidates should have “10+ years of experience in sales required with demonstrated ability to drive sales of a manufacturer’s full product line through channel partners,” and a “bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.”

Samsung Electronics America has about 2,000 North American channel partners, according to CRN’s 2023 Channel Chiefs.

Conceal

Conceal has a listing on LinkedIn for an MSP product manager who can “partner with engineering and executive leadership to drive product vision, strategy and roadmap in support of our MSP partners.”

The Augusta, Ga.-based security vendor seeks candidates with “5+ years of experience in the MSP industry (either working for an MSP, running an MSP or developing software for MSPs),” according to the listing.

The hire will “author product documentation, product demos, blog posts, sales readiness material and other content both for internal and MSP partner use,” among other responsibilities.

About 80 percent of Conceal’s overall sales come through the channel, according to CRN’s 2023 Channel Chiefs.

Dialpad

According to LinkedIn, Dialpad seeks an enterprise account executive (AE) who will collaborate “closely with SDRs, Channel Partners, Sales Engineers, Sales Leadership and their peers to constantly improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the full sales process.”

The San Ramon, Calif.-based customer intelligence platform provider seeks an AE who will “work closely with Marketing, Partner Managers, Sales Leadership, Sales Engineers, Account Management, Legal and Finance to take a large sized business prospect to an active Dialpad client.”

Candidates should have “5+ years of sales experience in an ever-changing environment,” according to the listing.

Iron Bow Technologies

Iron Bow Technologies has multiple openings on LinkedIn this month.

The Herndon, Va.-based solution provider has listings for the following:

*Tier one help desk technician—the hire will support “about 3,000 Department of Justice (DOJ) users” and “collaborate with customers and co-workers to diagnose and resolve problems.”

This month, iVision has a listing on LinkedIn for a cloud security engineer.

The Atlanta-based solution provider seeks someone “to design and develop Information Security and Risk Management (ISRM) multi-Cloud Infrastructure systems by applying cloud engineering, hardware and software design theories and principles to develop a compatible system infrastructure in line with organizational strategies,” according to the listing.

Candidates should have a “Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or 5+ years of related experience” and “3+ years in developing, communicating and presenting information security and risk management concepts to varying audiences,” according to the listing.

VLCM

VLCM has multiple listings on LinkedIn this month.

The Salt Lake City-based solution provider’s open roles include:

The Tallahassee, Fla.-based MSP seeks an engineer who can “provide solutions for various Open Systems, x86 Server environments” and “deliver virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions based on VMware software and technology,” according to the listing.

Candidates should have “a minimum of 5 years’ experience managing and implementing VMware VDI solutions” and a bachelor’s or equivalent.

US Cloud

US Cloud has a listing on LinkedIn for a Microsoft technology consultant.

The St. Louis-based MSP wants a consultant who can “represent US Cloud in communications via phone, email, and web to assist clients in deploying, operating, and troubleshooting Microsoft technologies such as Windows server and desktop, Office 365, Azure, SharePoint, Exchange, SQL, Skype, System Center and Dynamics,” according to the listing.

Candidates should have “8+ years of experience in Microsoft technologies” and “3+ years of experience as a technical consultant,” according to the listing.

Simeio

Simeio has a listing on LinkedIn for a field marketing and account-based marketing (ABM) manager.

The Alpharetta, Ga.-based MSP wants the manager “to partner and foster valuable partnerships with our Sales organization to manage a field marketing plan from conception to execution, in order to build, influence, and accelerate sales pipeline, through a variety of ABM focused marketing strategies and tactics,” according to the listing.

Candidates should have “5+ years in Enterprise B2B marketing and/or sales.”

A separate opening at Simeio is a requests for proposal (RFP) manager, according to LinkedIn. This hire “will be responsible for managing the end-to-end proposal process for Simeio solutions” and “lead and manage the entire RFP process, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, data and proposal gathering, and customer requirements.”

Candidates should have a “bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)” and “proven experience as a RFP manager, preferably in the technology or cyber security industry,” according to the listing.

A Sage Intacct software engineer position is open at Aktion Associates, according to LinkedIn.

The consultant will “conduct assessments of clients’ existing IT environments, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for implementing Azure-based solutions.”
