Elite-level ServiceNow solution provider NewRocket has brought a fourth ServiceNow partner under its umbrella with the acquisition this month of Service Stack Technologies.

With the acquisition, NewRocket gains a foothold in the Indian ServiceNow market, expands its ServiceNow business opportunities in Europe and Asia, and gets exclusive access to a team which NewRocket has collaborated with in the past, said Matt Stoyka, CEO of the San Diego, Calif.-based solution provider.

“The Service Stack team is remarkedly talented and skilled and expands our ServiceNow capabilities,” Stoyka told CRN. “We’ve been collaborating with them for years, so we’ve seen how they work with us. We’re very complementary organizations.”

NewRocket also gets a pool of talent that might otherwise difficult to obtain, Stoyka said.

“It’s not so much skills that we don’t have, but skills that complement ours,” he said. “They have skillsets in al the ServiceNow Workflows and quality assurance, and will help expand our practices. And they have a very strong client base that works with them directly, mainly in Europe and some in APAC (Asia-Pacific). And they’re one of the few ServiceNow Elite-level partners out there.”

NewRocket and Service Stack Technologies have collaborated on several client-facing projects around the world, Stoyka said. Acquiring Pune, India-based Service Stack made sense for NewRocket, he said.

“This is truly 1+1=3,” he said. “This allows us to take their phenomenal core and amplify it faster, and allows us to move quicker together.”

Stoyka declined to discuss the cost of the acquisition. However, he said Service Stack has about 80 employees to add to the 425 employees NewRocket has. Those 425 employees include a small team in India.

Prior to Service Stack Technologies, NewRocket has made a number of other ServiceNow-related acquisitions since it was formed when San Francisco-based private equity firm Gryphon Investors acquired Highmetric in May of 2021.

Gryphon at the same time also acquired Fishbone Analytics and Iceberg Networks and combined them with Highmetric to create what it called the largest pure-play ServiceNow partner in the world.

Highmetric in September followed up with the acquisition of NewRocket, a San Diego-based solution provider focused on user experience design within the ServiceNow ecosystem and on building solutions that help simplify processes and deliver digital experiences to global customers including Fortune 100 companies.

Those companies, plus a U.K.-based ServiceNow partner called Vorto that was acquired by Highmetric before Gryphon Investors stepped in, were last month unified under the NewRocket brand.
