Contrary to its name, bigtincan is a company specializing in super-portable streamlined content management solutions. President and COO Patrick Welch gave CRNtv a demonstration of the company’s flagship product, the bigtincan hub.

The hub is designed as both a back-end and client-facing solution, enabling collaboration among employees and leveraging sales content.

Welch said the goal of the product is to ’help transform the way that organizations sell services and engage with customers.’

The platform offers a sophisticated presentation mode, as well as collaboration tools in Microsoft Office 365 documents, spreadsheets, and PDFs. On the back-end, users can collaborate across secure servers to share content in various forms, whether they are Word documents or video files.

Hub works across tablets and PCs, and most content is available offline. That means a sales rep heading into a presentation off-site doesn’t have to worry about wifi connections, passwords, and security when presenting to clients.

For enterprise companies, employees can collaborate on documents in Office 365, surf the web, and present content to clients without ever leaving the bigtincan platform, offering total security.
