Top Mobile Accessories from CES 2016

The show floor at this year's Consumer Electronics Show offered some serious accessories to upgrade gadgets, be they tablets or smartphones. Among the brightest atCES 2016:

Logitech’s new Create keyboard for iPad Pro takes the wonky Bluetooth connection out of the equation as it automatically powers on and pairs with the tablet when locked in. The full-size keyboard doubles as a two-sided protecting case, and can be powered directly by the iPad battery.

The Create also provides backlight when locked into place with the smart connector. The Create has a price tag of $149.99.

Altec Lansing is known for Bluetooth speakers, but its booth featured smartphone accessories built to withstand the elements.

"Everything that we’re making is completely rugged, sand-proof, snow-proof, and waterproof, because we know that wherever you’re taking your device, you want to be able to use it and know that it's secure," said Altec Lansing's Jill Byeff.

That line included an everything-proof case for iPhone 6/6S, a water resistant rapid wall charge, and a shock-proof lightning cable.
