WATCH: Milestone Tech Founder Shares Her Success Using HP Technology As-A-Service

CRNtv speaks with Milestone Tech founder and President Sarah Miles at HP Reinvent 2019.

At HP Reinvent 2019, partners shared their success stories using HP technology as-a-service. Milestone Tech is turning heads for its HP Smart Store: an online ordering system for distributors. CRNtv learned more in an interview with Milestone Tech founder and President Sarah Miles.

“So, over the last seven or eight years we started investing heavily in custom B2B portals. It got to the point where we grew our ability to help our customers contract easily online in an Amazon kind of way: I want it on my phone, I want an easy storefront, I want to be able to buy stuff and report it and see it on my phone.”

Today, 160 solution providers are using the platform in the U.S. to build custom B2B environments for their individual customers and to manage their purchases.

“The investment there that is pretty epic is that we can handle contractual members on our website. ... When you move to a contractual model, you’re going to pay $27 a month for the next 36 months. How do you do that in a storefront? So, smart stores are really well-positioned to help partners manage that transition into DaaS,” said Miles.
