Level 3 Sells Outsourcing Unit

Purchaser of the unit is Infocrossing Inc, which provides selective IT outsourcing and business process outsourcing solutions.

“While we have been pleased with the performance of the (i)Structure subsidiary, the operation is not a core business for Level 3,” said Charles C. Miller III, Level 3&'s chairman, in a statement.

At the same time, Level 3 said it is evaluating an initial public offering of its Technology Spectrum subsidiary. The firm noted that it previously had filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for the IPO.
