Quick Eagle Adds Special Pricing To Partner Program
The access router vendor added a new Meet Competition Program to its Channel Advantage partner program that grants increased discounts to partners when they need an extra pricing edge to win business, said Alan Rice, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Quick Eagle, Sunnyvale, Calif.
"On a deal-by-deal basis we can give an extra 8 points, 10 points, whatever we need to do to win the deal," Rice said. Quick Eagle competes with companies such as Adtran and Cisco Systems.
Quick Eagle is also giving all members of its channel program a choice of whether to source products direct from the vendor or through the vendor's distribution partners, Ingram Micro and Interlink Communication Systems.
Previously, only channel partners that had earned Quick Eagle's top-level Premier partner designation could opt for direct sourcing.
The company plans to roll out the program changes worldwide by next month, Rice said.
