VAR Powerhouse ePlus Acquires Tandberg Platinum Partner
Interchange Technologies is an existing Tandberg Platinum Partner, which brings ePlus, a national VAR and Cisco Gold partner, the full range of UC and video technologies between the formerly separate Cisco and Tandberg portfolios. Cisco completed its acquisition of Tandberg in April, and is expected to roll out new channel program enhancements related to the Tandberg integration soon.

"ITi's demonstrated experience with Tandberg solutions is a strong complement to our existing Cisco practice as a Cisco Gold Certified partner. By combining our joint expertise and other investments we've made, ePlus will have greater capacity to deliver integrated video collaboration solutions to customers, including streaming media, audio and visual integration, and digital signage."

The deal was officially announced Thursday. Financial terms were not disclosed.
ePlus, ranked No. 86 on this year's VAR 500, is based in Herndon, Va. Last week, the company announced second quarter earnings of $234.5 million in revenue, up 35.8 percent from a year ago, and $7.9 million in profit, up 58.3 percent from a year ago.
