MegaPath Loses Senior VP To VirtuOz

“Greg brings a successful track record growing global operations and services and, more importantly, he brings a history of building solid customer relationships at all levels of the client organization,” said Steve L. Adams, president and CEO of VirtuOz, in a statement. “The addition of his talent and vision will further equip us to meet the predicted market growth for virtual agents.”

That growth is underscored by recent predictions by Gartner that “by 2015, 50 percent of online customer self-service search activities will be via a virtual agent for at least 1,500 large enterprises.”

Carver's resume also includes experience as senior VP of operations at GoRemote (acquired by iPass) and subsequently at iPass, where he ran global operations. He's held CXO positions for MercedNet, BroadBand Office, and Williams Communications Group, as well as various engineering and operations positions at Nortel Networks.

A year ago this month, MegaPath personnel changes made news when Dan Foster left as executive vice president of sales and marketing, only to return four months later as its president of business markets. He succeeded Bruce Chatterley.
