Voda One Offers Avaya Global Services To Solution Providers
Voda One, an Omaha, Neb.-based subsidiary of Westcon Group, said the services will include maintenance, network consulting, implementation and installation services. The distributor will support the offering through its own sales and consulting services to Avaya solution providers, said Jeff Kastroll, director of technical services at Westcon Group North America.
Solution providers can use Avaya Global Services to cut training and infrastructure costs, Kastroll said.
"It enables our Avaya business partners to add an important dimension to the customer relationship and gives them something their competition may not have access to: world-class support from a market leader in convergence technology," he said in a statement.
Avaya Global Services has 40 percent market share in enterprise PBX communications systems maintenance, according to analyst firm InfoTech.
"We see this as a win-win for Voda One, our VARs and customers," said Kevin Cook, vice president of Avaya North America, in a statement. "By standardizing contract procedures and packaging services for sale through distribution, we open up a new market for Avaya Global Services, Voda One and Avaya business partners."
