Advantix Makes Wireless Ordering Easier For Fellow AT&T Solution Providers

Telecom lifecycle management solution provider Advantix has had an API integration for wireless order processing with carrier giant AT&T, but now, the company is making ordering easier for fellow telecom expense management channel partners and AT&T solution providers.

The AdvantixBLITZ API combines with At&T's eBonding platform for "seamless" wireless product order processing that has been saving Advantix's own customers time and resources, according to Advantix's chief operating officer, Nathan Brown.

Our partners’ customer experience is critically important to Advantix," Brown told CRN. "BLITZ increases the speed in which wireless orders are placed for our managed mobility clients, delivering instantaneous and error-free wireless fulfillment.”

The AdvantixBLITZ API has been available to Advantix customers since October 2017, but the company is now making it available for purchase on the open market through the AT&T Alliance Channel, the company said.

Advantix BLITZ, a cloud-based solution, will automate the manual process of transferring orders into AT&T portal for its channel partners and their end customers. Users will get a "near real-time" quote and accurate prices before placing their orders and can also pay for one-time equipment charges for devices and accessories using a credit card through the secure online web payment portal, Advantix said.

The integration between AT&T's eBonding platform and Advantix BLITZ gives users immediate transaction confirmation via e-mail and on-demand status and inventory checks, eliminating the need for customers or partners to contact AT&T.

"By making BLITZ available to partners as a service, we are offering a solution to them which otherwise would require dedicated technology staff to build and maintain," said Brian Nuckels, CIO of Advantix. "Our hope is that this increases the level of service across our industry by making automation accessible to a broader audience."

Richardson, Texas-based Advantix specializes in mobility management service and telecom expense management (TEM). The company in August acquired solution provider San Diego-based TeraNova Consulting Group's managed mobility business and spun off a third company called iXtera, which focuses on mobility and Internet of Things solutions.

Natasha Royer Coons, co-founder and managing director of TeraNova, also serves as chief revenue officer of iXtera. Coons said that Advantix BLITZ glives Advantix channel partners peace of mind. "We leverage automation with the personalization of service," she said. "By bringing together the best of both worlds, we help strengthen the relationship between our partners and their customers."
