Along with the tour, Verizon revealed a new partner portal called Degreed. The New York City-based telecom company said it is a single destination featuring a revamped learning platform to enhance the user experience.

“Whether you are an agent, a subagent, a value-added reseller or distributor, you have access to the latest and greatest information that Verizon can provide to educate you on how we differentiate our network and our services against anyone else,” said Michael Caralis, vice president of channel at Verizon.

The Partner Advisory Council meeting was also an opportunity for Verizon channel leaders listen to partner feedback.

“It’s super exciting to get everyone together and listen to what they’re looking for from us, which really, as a supplier to the channel, comes down to a few different things. It’s how consistent can we be so they can plan their business for 2023? How do we differentiate our products and services against any other supplier that they use and ... create outstanding customer experiences for customers? Those are the big three things that the channel is asking for us and we’re working to deliver,” Caralis said.

Verizon channel leaders and partners are looking forward to the new year as the telecom company continues to strive to meet partner needs.

“2023 is going to be our best year yet as we continue to focus on providing the best network for our customers. We‘re building out our 5G footprint. We’re leveraging our fiber assets. We‘re selling above the network, our UC and C portfolio, our cybersecurity portfolio, and it’s really our partners that make the magic happen. We are better together when we work with channel,” Caralis said.

“We are absolutely growing and to be able to do that with a company like Verizon ... [bringing] together wireless with fixed wireless with the wireline network. It allows us to be able to continue to grow internationally. … It allows us to continue to expand our footprint and the services that we provide to our to our partners,” Telarus’ Murray said.
