Juniper Networks Makes Midmarket Push

Juniper Networks’ ’refreshed’ outlook on the channel has moved forward with a new focus on the midmarket space, a shift that came as a result of partners’ requests.

’Partners are critical to our ecosystem at Juniper,’ said Vice President of Field Marketing Matt Hurley, who called partners an ’incredible driver of our business.’

Hurley said partners requested more clarity from Juniper in the marketplace and on what the company stands for in terms of value propositions. Juniper is ’a month or so away’ from releasing a ’value mission for the midmarket space.’

That will likely include new products around campus, branch and security, as well as refreshed portfolios and strategy.

Juniper spoke with partners from all levels of its three-tier channel program to evaluate where refreshes should take place, and the overwhelming response was the midmarket. After clarifying the company’s strategy earlier this year, Hurley said he wants the message to be loud and clear to partners regarding the midmarket: Juniper ’is in it.’
