Here Is What You Missed At Dell Technologies World Day 3

Ashton Kutcher is proving he can do it all: acting, modeling and now tech entrepreneur.

At Dell Technologies World on Wednesday, Kutcher took the stage where he discussed a number of emerging trends in technology, specifically his love for motorized scooters.

’How many times do you look outside and see all the automobiles on the road and think, 'Wow, these automobiles are a huge problem -- they’re parked everywhere, they've clogged up all the roads.' And I think to myself wouldn’t it be a lot better if there were a lot of scooters in permitted parking places,’ he said.

Kutcher’s investments have included Uber, Spotify, Soundcloud and Flipboard over the years. He also co-founded Thorn, a nonprofit that pushes to stop the spread of child sex abuse material with the help of technology.

Also on Wednesday, Dell Technologies and Microsoft unveiled a collaboration to deliver a joint IoT offering designed to help vertical customers simplify deploying their end-to-end IoT solutions, from the edge to the cloud.

CRNtv spoke to Moor Insights & Strategy Founder Patrick Moorhead about the news, who said it’s only good news for the channel.

’Anybody who is a Dell channel partner ... it’s more things they can sell.’
