One of the biggest takeaways from Dell Technologies World comes from Patrick Moorhead, founder and principal analyst of Moor Insights & Strategy. Moorhead spends 40 weeks a year traveling to tech conferences around the world and spoke to CRNtv on the third and final day of Dell Technologies World in Las Vegas.
“I think my biggest takeaway here is the full Dell Technologies is becoming a reality,” said Moorhead, who said the conference did a good job of connecting Dell’s seven major brands with a unified message.
Moorhead urged channel partners to focus on the next big thing like the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence. Dell’s biggest challenge is to keep up the pace, he said.
“If the piece parts start to slow down then I would start to get concerned,” he said.
