As technology vendors shed tens of thousands of jobs, citing a decrease in demand since the height of the pandemic plus growing inflation in the United States, CRN has looked at open listings on LinkedIn that would bring new talent into the channel – either by working with a partner or by working with a vendor to support partners.

The job pays between $50,000 and $60,000 a year, according to the listing. The company wants someone with at least three years of experience in technical support, a bachelor’s degree or diploma from a computer technical school and certifications in A++ and MCP.

Sublime wants candidates with experience in installing patches and updates, installing printers and scanners, removing spyware and malware, modifying Active Directory, using Microsoft Windows and customer service.

The new hire will be expected to travel to the Nashville area for work 15 percent of the time.

The new hire will install and configure software and functions, set and troubleshoot New Technology File Systems (NTFS) permissions, create and diagnose group policies and diagnose and maintain local networks, among other tasks.

Perry ProTech

Perry ProTech – No. 308 on CRN’s 2022 Solution Provider 500 – has multiple listings on LinkedIn.

The San Mateo, Calif.-based company is hiring for a systems integrator (SI) and global systems integrator (GSI) manager.

The role pays up to $170,000 a year. Candidates should have at least five years of experience with an SI, a college degree and knowledge of ecommerce, ERP, customer relationship management (CRM) software and integration-platform-as-a-service (iPaaS).

New hires will build the SI partnership program, manage existing partners, build and implement enablement programs and develop mutual go-to-market (GTM) programs. They will report to the vice president of business and corporate development, according to the listing.

Celigo also seeks a head of IT and workplace solutions. The role pays up to $200,000 a year.

The Monroe, La.-based telecommunications vendor seeks a level two account director and channel manager making at least $87,750. Candidates should have a master’s degree and at least nine years of experience.

Lumen also seeks level one account directors and channel managers in Chicago and one for Indianapolis.

The jobs will pay a salary of at least $69,863, according to the listings. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and at least seven years of experience. Trellix

Trellix has multiple channel-related listings on LinkedIn.

One of the San Jose, Calif.-based cybersecurity vendor’s listings is for a sales account manager for systems integrators (SIs). The manager would work on Trellix’s U.S. Department of Defense and SI sales team.

The new hire would work with SIs on security services, maintain existing accounts, mett and exceed revenue quotas and build a new business pipeline.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree, security operations (SecOps) and development security operations (DevSecOps) experience and experience selling with SIs and in the federal government space.
