Orange Business Services, Moogsoft Aim New Partnership At Remote Operations

‘With the pandemic, every enterprise is scaling to transform to a digital environment while also maintaining their legacy environments. Our partnership is accelerating the pace of this transformation by taking away the complexity of managing disparate collaboration, security, and other systems,’ says Sam Nchinda, vice president of Americas solutions for Orange Business Services.

Orange Business Services, a French digital services company with a large and growing U.S. business, on Tuesday unveiled a new relationship with Moogsoft to use Moogsoft‘s AIOps platform to develop a new virtual network operations center for clients looking to improve remote operations during the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.

For Orange Business Services, the timing of the new relationship is right, said Sam Nchinda, vice president of Americas solutions for Orange Business Services, which has its U.S. headquarters in Atlanta.

“With the pandemic, every enterprise is scaling to transform to a digital environment while also maintaining their legacy environments,” Nchinda told CRN. ”Our partnership is accelerating the pace of this transformation by taking away the complexity of managing disparate collaboration, security, and other systems. This increases uptime, increases end user expansions, and increases availability.”

Orange Business Services‘ approach is to deliver that digital transformation to enterprise clients as managed services via its MSI, or Multi-sourcing Integration, platform, Nchinda said.

“With managed services based on MSI, customers don‘t need to take months to source and deploy new software,” he said. ”This can be done automatically.”

Traditionally, initiatives around collaboration, security, and other suites were very siloed, but those silos are no longer workable for IT, Nchinda said. And, he said, applying artificial intelligence and DevOps is key to making that work.

“We need to deliver integrated systems,” he said. ”Moogsoft enables us to do this rapidly and ensure the entire IT stack functions as a whole and not as siloed pieces. ... For example, customers may need to move to SD-WAN and internet everywhere, integrate it with Zoom or Microsoft Teams, ensure everything is secured, and then manage the complexity on a global basis and make changes dynamically.”

Moogsoft focuses on the Fortune 2000 companies of the world, and has found Orange Business Services a good partner to reach them, said Phil Tee, founder and CEO of the San Francisco-based company.

“Orange Business Services brings a deep understanding of what customers want from A.I. and devops,” Tee told CRN. ”The specialty of being able to remotely operate digital infrastructures is increasingly important.”
