Fostering such a workplace environment isn’t an easy endeavor or a quick fix—it takes time, effort and education to bring together people from diverse backgrounds and make certain that their voices are heard.

Goldstein established a diversity and inclusion committee within the International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners, which Microsoft promoted globally. At Queue, he encourages employees to stand up to microaggressions and any other biases that appear within the corporate culture.

Gomez Llamas promoted diversity and inclusion by evolving the organizational structure to prioritize different backgrounds, origins, generations and gender to better serve the business and customers. Currently 67 percent of her leadership team are women, 26 percent come from new economies and 18 percent are early in their careers.

Gravel has approached the senior management team about creating a women’s affinity group. She has already become known as a high-ranking advocate for diversity within Quantexa in the six months since joining the company.

Graves participated in IoT and Women in Tech panels and the Alliance of Black Women roundtable, which focused on the role black organizations like HBCUs, Jack and Jill of America and Divine Nine play in shaping the African American community.
Graziano is joined D&H in June, where he plans to leverage his past experience to continue to amplify LGBTQ+ voices. In his previous role he led virtual educational events to bring awareness of issues facing the community and drove opportunities to create more allyship.

Holguin was the moderator for Logitech’s Women Who Master webinar, speaking about bridging the gap for girls and women in technology. She also was a panelist for LogiBE, celebrating contributions of people in technology during Black History Month.
As executive sponsor of SoftwareOne’s DEIB initiatives, Hooton introduced extensive organization-wide training on DEIB. He also established ERGs for Asian, Black/African American, Hispanic and LGBTQ groups and created diversity recruitment partnerships.

Kumar is the executive lead for Red River’s DEI committee, ensuring this focus remains a priority at every level of the company. He works with the executive team to drive metrics that support recruiting and hiring and makes it a focus to shed light on social issues.
Landes made sure the topic of DEI was in the spotlight at the company’s NerdioCon event. He has also made significant progress in bringing more female leaders into the company as Nerdio’s leadership positions are 28 percent female and rapidly increasing.

Menzies believes that an organization’s growth potential is stifled by not having diverse opinions that inform the decision-making process. He has strived to become a leader that listens and allows employees to help determine who they are and who they hope to become.
Skyriver IT partners with the National Foundation for Autism Research and provides internship positions for candidates with an interest in outsourced IT services. Michelon has facilitated this relationship because his youngest child and he are on the autisim spectrum.

Singhal has been promoting diversity and inclusion in all aspects of his interactions. He has created a welcoming environment and practices empathy and understanding by actively listening and fostering inclusivity in feedback.

Sizer finds a way for everyone in her organization, regardless of their differences, to succeed. 3rd Element has people of color and neuro-diverse employees, and 25 percent of the staff is comprised of women. She has also built on-boarding to account for neuro-diversity.

Slater has been working on launching Sherweb’s DEIPP program for partners, similar to Microsoft’s Black Partner Growth Initiative. He also has promoted diverse hiring, representing communities including BIPOC, neuro-diverse and LGBTQ+.

Stusrud has facilitated inclusive all-hands meetings to reflect and promote Pure’s diverse people and perspectives, making training and leadership programs available to the entire partner organization regardless of role and exploring opportunities to invest in key global contributors.

Vedullapalli co-founded Women In Cloud, a community movement aimed at generating $1 billion in economic access by 2023. The community includes around 70,000 members across 65 countries. She also is working with Microsoft to roll out 3,000 cloud scholarships to activate a diverse workforce in tech.
