RSA Security Retools Partner Program

RSA Security

Last August, CRN reported on RSA's plan to relaunch its partner program to boost its channel sales. The program overhaul comes after a series of acquisitions by the vendor, including its $136.5 million purchase of Securant Technologies last summer.

"We're adding more structure to [the program and giving more opportunities to partners to succeed with RSA," said Sandra Toms-LaPedis, vice president of Americas marketing at RSA.

The retooled program defines three tiers of partnership based on level of commitment. Advantage Partner is an entry-level accreditation that offers sales, marketing and technical support through RSA's authorized distributors.

Select Partners are solution providers, integrators and consultants that have experience in selling security products and meet a $1 million minimum sales requirement, Toms-LaPedis said. Premier Partners are global systems integrators.

Select and Premier partners have multiple benefits, including access to a new partner resource extranet, prequalified leads and marketing, sales and technical support from RSA SecurWorld consultants.

LaPedis said RSA counts 200 solution provider partners in the United States and is actively recruiting more.

RSA's products include its SecurID user authentication, BSafe encryption tools, Keon PKI management and ClearTrust authorization software.
