RapidStream Launches Partner Program

The company, based here, was set to announce its Enterprise Security Partner Program at this week's RSA Conference.

"We're taking a very selective approach, with a limited number of VARs-systems integrators who are Check Point-authorized," said Dave Crilley, director of marketing for RapidStream, Seattle. This will allow the vendor to provide partners with margins in the range of 20 percent, he said.

Benefits include a 5 percent instant rebate at the time of purchase from the distributor, a demo purchase program, and additional discounts for government and educational purchases.

Crilley said he expects RapidStream's program to attract solution providers selling Nokia appliances running Check Point software. RapidStream's products are competitively priced and provide high performance by effectively accelerating the operation of Check Point technology, he said.
