Industry veteran Michelle Ragusa-McBain, who was formerly global channel chief at network security giant SonicWall, has taken the top channel role at DDoS protection vendor Corero Network Security.

Previously, Ragusa-McBain had been hired by SonicWall to head its North America channel in May 2023, and just four months later was promoted to serve as its global channel chief. SonicWall reported having more than 17,000 partners globally at the time.
In September, Ragusa-McBain disclosed that she had taken a senior channel advisor role at security service edge (SSE) vendor Red Access.
Now at Corero, Ragusa-McBain is aiming to accelerate the growth of Corero’s DDoS protection offering with the help of partners, she wrote in a LinkedIn post Thursday.
Ragusa-McBain will continue to serve as a channel advisor at Red Access, she said in the post, which does not mention SonicWall.
CRN has reached out to SonicWall for comment.
At Corero, the opportunity is to “strengthen Corero’s partner-first go-to-market strategy and accelerate adoption of industry-leading real-time DDoS protection,” Ragusa-McBain wrote in the post.
Prior to joining SonicWall, Ragusa-McBain had spent 15 years at Cisco, where she was a well-known channel leader.
