Netilla, Alternative Collaborate On Unique Partner Campaign

The program, unveiled Monday as the "Netilla-Advantage Partner Campaign," enables solution providers in Alternative's channel program to become Netilla resellers by applying universal vouchers from Alternative's Customer Partner Program.

According to Reggie Best, Netilla's president and CEO, membership in the Netilla program provides Alternative VARs with a bevy of tools and incentives to market the Netilla Security Platform SSL VPN to midsize enterprise customers.

"We're looking to use this promotion to double the size of our channel," Best said in an exclusive interview with CRN. "At the end of the day, that's the only sales strategy we want to have."

As Best explained, Alternative resellers that sign up for the promotion receive one not-for-resale unit of Netilla Security Platform (NSP) for customer demo use, technical and sales training, a co-branded marketing case study, and the ability to take the Netilla Certified Engineer (NCE) exam for free.

Upon program completion, participating VARs with revenue of at least $30,000 in the first three months of joining the program and at least $60,000 in subsequent months will be recognized as official Netilla channel partners. Somerset, N.J.-based Netilla will then reimburse these resellers for all of the Alternative universal vouchers used during the program.

Other performance incentives include cash prizes for the three resellers that sell the most NSPs, and an all-expenses-paid trip to a casino in Atlantic City, N.J.

Netilla's NSP is a hardware-based solution that sits inside the DMZ, providing secure remote application access through unique SSL VPN tunnels. The appliance proactively safeguards against unauthorized access by enforcing permissions-based policies that authorize each user to synchronize specific local desktop applications with the remote server. Controlled by Netilla's SecureRealm Framework, the policies include a dynamic session-based firewall that opens and closes ports on a per-user and per-session basis.

The boxes also come standard with Netilla's patented dynaTrust policy enforcement operating system, which authenticates users on the basis of identity, entitlements, environment and client integrity.

The Netilla-Advantage Partner Campaign was expected to run through Dec. 31.
