TruSecure Unveils Compliance Management Software

The software, dubbed Risk Commander 2.0, helps enterprises manage regulatory compliance by incorporating TruSecure's intelligence network into a flexible application framework that works in any environment. It was expected to be available to channel partners immediately.

According to Eric Cady, product manager at Herndon, Va.-based TruSecure, the product leverages security data gathered from third-party applications and maps that intelligence against an enterprise to help analyze, prioritize and remediate noncompliance and security risks.

"[Risk Commander 2.0] helps to immediately address compliance shortcomings and reduce risk for multiple compliance standards," he said. "With this product, businesses don't have to worry about anything."

As Cady explained, the product features an open Application Programming Interface (API) that integrates compliance data from multiple sources, as well as an analysis engine that combines the data into one usable interface. It also boasts a dashboard and scorecards that offer insight into organizational compliance performance at a glance.

Customizable filters help users pinpoint compliance issues of interest to a particular organization, while the product's workflow automatically generates remediation tasks for every compliance issue identified.

The device also offers additional Information Security Compliance Modules for regulations including GLB, FFIEC, ISO 17799 and Basel II. Modules for Sarbanes-Oxley and other regulations will be available soon, Cady said.

TruSecure's Risk Commander 2.0 retails for a starting price of $150,000.
