Accenture, HP Bolster Security For Italian Mobile Communications Provider

The solutions provide security for customer financial transactions, delivering fraud protection and making it possible for mobile handsets to transfer money and automate payments. The $23 billion Accenture implemented and maintains the PosteMobile's fraud management solution, which is based on the HP CentralView software platform. Accenture is No. 3 on ChannelWeb's VAR500 listing.

The solution provides monitoring and analysis tools, which help businesses make more informed decisions on issues such as pinpointing fraud.

"We now have real-time monitoring and predictive analytics solutions that enable us to respond quickly to unusual behavior, either from the network or from our dealers, which dramatically improve our business performance and make us more competitive," said Paola Painelli, fraud manager at PosteMobile in a statement.

The fraud-management and dealer-performance solutions also give companies enhanced case management capabilities, with escalation, notification-management and advanced reporting capabilities and advanced security, and audit capabilities to reduce internal errors and intentional misconduct. Detailed reports provide graphics that offer a view of customers' and dealers' activity and trends.
