Wade Tyler Millward
BeyondID, Identity and Access Solutions, Torii and Palo Alto Networks were among the upstarts and movers-and-shakers in security at Oktane22.

Cerby
Another exhibitor at Oktane22 was Cerby, a startup that has received funding from Okta to develop its security automation platform.
The Alameda, Calif.-based startup – founded in 2020 but only exiting stealth in June– promises users protection against shared passwords, disabled two-factor authentication and other common application configurations that go against security best practices, according to Cerby.
Cerby uses browser plugins, local desktop clients, server-side isolated browsers and other automation agents for programmed automation flows, according to the company. The company works with Okta, Azure Active Directory and other identity systems.
In June, the company revealed it raised $12 million in seed funding from Ridge Ventures, Bowery Capital, Okta Ventures, Salesforce Ventures and others.
