These Are The Stellar Security Startups To Know In 2023

Rick Whiting

Cyberattacks are unrelenting and rapidly evolving and businesses are demanding the latest defensive weapons to fight back. As part of CRN’s Stellar Startups for 2023, here are 48 security startups, founded in 2017 or later, who are developing leading-edge cybersecurity technology that solution providers should be aware of.

Dope.security

Founded: 2021

Top Executive: Kunal Agarwal

Legacy secure web gateways have defined cybersecurity for a generation but they route internet traffic through datacenters to perform security checks and are known for their complex configuration and dull UI. Dope.security says it redefines the market with its easy-to-deploy Fly-Direct architecture, for which it received a patent in November 2022. The product eliminates stopover datacenters and heightens performance, reliability, and privacy with a modern UI.

Dope.security, which exited stealth in September 2022, landed $16 million in Series A funding in March, in addition to an earlier $4 million seed funding round.
