Nearly one year after debuting its end-to-end security-as-a-service offering Comodo 360, Comodo’s Vice President Sales North America, George Muldoon, calls the reception "nothing short of amazing."
"Year over year growth was over 30 percent in our enterprise business, which we expect to be even bigger this year," Muldoon said.
Comodo rolled out the solution in 2016 and said the unified platform has been popular among businesses of various sizes.
Muldoon has seen an explosion in the popularity of software-as-a-service. He says the level of threats has become more advanced and complex, making it difficult for businesses to manage their security. The talent gap in the security space exacerbates the problem.
"What really drives the business to the security-as-a-service providers is, there’s just such a massive cyber security skills shortage," he said.
Muldoon said Comodo would continue to invest heavily in its channel program in 2017.
"We are really driven to make sure that we’re supporting the channel, empowering them, training them, to get them to be an extension of what we’re doing," he said.
