Robbiati’s HPE And CEO History

Robbiati was Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s CFO from 2018 until 2023.

As HPE’s CFO, Robbiati increased the company’s gross margins, operating profit margins, and free cash flow and scaled the company from a traditional transactional hardware-based business into an Everything-as-a-Service business.

He then became CEO of RingCentral for a brief stint in 2023.

Robbiati was also CFO of telecommunications giant Sprint for several years.

Over his 25 years in the industry, he also has held CEO roles at Flexigroup Limited and Hong Kong CSL Limited.

Robbiati began his tech career as an associate partner for solution provider giant Accenture from 1989 to 1999.

New CFO Will Help Evolve Pure Storage

Pure’s CEO said Robbiati will help his company as it is evolving into more than just a storage company.

Robbiati will report to Giancarlo and oversee Pure Storage’s global finance organization, which includes finance, investor relations, procurement and facilities.

He replaces Pure’s former CFO, Kevan Krysler, who announced his departure in May after more than five years of service.

“We’re building intelligent tools that help customers manage, track and secure data—faster, smarter, and with less waste,” Giancarlo said. “[Robbiati has] the kind of leadership it takes to help customers take control of their data—and shape the future of this industry.”
