NetApp Channel Chief Jenni Flinders Departs: Exclusive

Flinders leaves after heading NetApp’s global channel activities for over four years. No replacement has been named, but her departure comes less than two months after NetApp brought on Kristine Wedum from rival Pure Storage to head its Americas channels.

Jenni Flinders has stepped down from her role of senior vice president of NetApp’s global partner organization after four years at the company.

Flinders, listed in CRN’s Women of the Channel Power 100, confirmed her departure in response to a CRN inquiry. However, she did not reply to a request for further information by press time.

NetApp told CRN in a statement: “Jenni Flinders, Senior Vice President of the World Partner Organization has departed NetApp after four years of helping to drive growth and strengthen the company’s partner ecosystem. The company wishes Jenni the best in her future endeavors. A search for Jenni’s successor is currently underway.”

The company did not reply to additional questions from CRN.

The move comes less than two months after San Jose, Calif.-based NetApp made another change in its channel team with the hiring of Kristine Wedum as vice president of its U.S. partner organization. Wedum succeeds David Sznewajs, a 13-plus-year NetApp veteran who in October was named vice president and general manager of NetApp’s Canadian business.

Wedum joined NetApp from rival Pure Storage, where she spent over eight years, most recently as channel sales director for the company’s north central and Canadian region.

Flinders’s departure also comes less than two months after she helped headline NetApp’s channel activities at the company’s NetApp Insight 2025 conference in Las Vegas.

Flinders joined NetApp as senior vice president for the company’s global channel partner business in July of 2021. Prior to joining NetApp, she spent nearly two-and-a-half years as vice president and global channel chief at VMware.
