VMware this week honored its biggest and boldest channel partners, which includes companies such as CDW, DXC Technology, Presidio, Softchoice and World Wide Technology.

The $12 billion virtualization and software star unveiled the winners of the VMware 2021 Partner Achievement Awards this week highlighting partners for their achievements in helping customers move to a cloud-centric architecture and drive digital transformation by delivering VMware technologies and solutions.

VMware Partner Achievement Awards honors regional and global winners in the categories of: Partner Digital Transformation, Partner Innovation, Partner Lifecycle Services, Partner Value, and Partner Social Impact. North American And Global Alliances Winners

For the Partner Digital Transformation category, World Wide Technology (WWT) won for North America, while Google Cloud won for global alliances.

In the Partner Value segment, DCX Technology won for global alliances, while Insight achieved VMware’s North American award.

For Partner Lifecycle Services, Softchoice won for North America, while Deloitte won the award for global alliances.

In the Partner Innovation segment, Lenovo won for global alliances, while Dizzion won the award for North America.

For Partner Social Impact, Presidio won for North America, while Fujitsu achieved the award for global alliances.

‘Sole’ Winners

In addition to the regional and global award winners, VMware also named three partners as the “sole winners” across the globe.

TeraSky was named the 2021 VMware Partner of the Year for the Israel-based company’s excellence in consistently delivering business impact, value and innovation to its customers.

Solution provider giant CDW, based in Vernon Hills, Ill., received the Partner Industry Award for its deep domain expertise in the United States healthcare and State, Local and Education (SLED) markets.

CTC was selected as VMware’s Partner Collaboration Award winner for its commitment to working together with other partners to deliver customers the highest level of innovation.

VMware’s global channel chief Sandy Hogan said its “partners are more important than ever” in the wake of the global COVID pandemic disrupting the world since early 2020.

“It’s inspirational to see partners innovating, expanding their capabilities, and growing their business with us to deliver exceptional customer success,” said Hogan, senior vice president of VMware’s Worldwide Partner and Commercial organization in a statement. “As trusted advisors, our partners are more important than ever, and VMware is committed to working with them to accelerate customer transformation and unleash the power of connected ecosystems to create customer-for-life value. … These awards demonstrate the value our partners are delivering and their impact across the entire customer lifecycle.”
