Multimax, based in Largo, Maryland, with annual revenues of about $120 million, was an enterprise IT services and solutions provider to all levels of government as well as to commercial accounts. The combined company will operate from Herndon, Virginia, under the name Multimax Inc and will have combined revenues of about $300 million.

Target: Demantra Inc.
Buyer: Oracle Corp.
Date: June 1, 2006
Deal Status: Announced
Channel Significance: Vendor with channel program
Oracle presumably wants to fold Demantra's enterprise planning and supply chain software capabilities into its ERP offerings. The close is subject to certain conditions, but is expected to occur within the month.

Target: Lucid Security Corp.
Buyer: AmbironTrustWave
Date: June 1, 2006
Deal Status: Closed
Channel Significance: Vendor with channel program
AmbironTrustWave will continue to support Lucid's ipANGEL brand for the legacy Lucid Security product line. Vik Phatak, the founder of Lucid, will become the CTO of AmbironTrustWave.

Target: Process Claims Inc.
Buyer: CCC Information Services Inc.
Date: May 30, 2006
Deal Status: Announced
Channel Significance: Vendor with channel program
Based in Manhattan Beach, Calif., ProcessClaims' products enable software connectivity and business process management for the insurance industry. Nothing is known about CCC's plans for the company or its channel program if the acquisition closes.
