5 Predictions For Software Development In 2022

They say that every business is becoming a software business. As digital transformation rolls on, what companies do, how they operate and what services they provide to their customers are increasingly being encoded within software. That means software development has become a critical function – if not a strategic imperative – for many businesses.

In its just released “Predictions 2022: Software Development” report, market research firm Forrester Research notes that development teams “face ongoing pressure to quickly deliver digital capabilities and create dynamic and anticipatory experiences for customers.” In 2022 developers can expect to see increased use of event-driven architecture, cross-platform mobile app development, collaborative work management and AI bots, according to the report.
