The 10 Hottest Big Data Startups Of 2019

Rick Whiting

Sales of big data and business analytics offerings are expected to grow at a double-digit pace over the next five years, and that industry growth is spurring a steady stream of startups developing innovative big data products.

Profiting From The Data Deluge

The total amount of digital data created worldwide is expected to explode from 40 zettabytes this year to 175 zettabytes by 2025, according to market researcher IDC. To manage all that data and put it to effective use, businesses and organizations are forecast to spend $189.1 billion globally this year for big data and business analytics offerings.

While much of that spending will flow to major vendors like Microsoft and Tableau, a lot of the innovation in big data technology is coming from startups developing groundbreaking software in data management and business analytics.

Solution providers who want to offer their customers the latest software and services in business analytics, data management, data science and machine learning to tackle their big data challenges should take notice.

Here are CRN's picks for the top big data startups in 2019.
