Joe Kaeser
Siemens announced that CEO and President Joe Kaeser will not seek a contract extension and will be proposed as chairman of Siemens Energy's supervisory board.
The German industrial giant's supervisory board named Roland Busch, the company's current deputy CEO, as Kaeser's successor. The appointment is set to happen by Feb. 3, 2021, at the latest, with a new five-year contract that was set to begin April 1 of this year.
In addition to Busch's current duties, he will also lead the integration and management of Siemen's Smart Infrastructure, Digital Industries and Mobility businesses.
