October was a big month for IT executive moves in the channel, including CEOs at GE, Datto and Veeam stepping down as well as major appointments at PTC, Docker and Zscaler.

Suneel Krishnaswamy

EnVista, an Indianapolis-based software technology and consulting firm, appointed Suneel Krishnaswamy, an IBM veteran, as CTO.

Most recently, Krishnaswamy was CTO at Kuebix. Prior to that, he held leadership roles at IBM, AT&T's Sterling Commerce and Yantra.

"Suneel’s leading the development of numerous industry-leading innovative cloud software solutions, including transportation management systems, order management systems, warehouse management systems and EDI integration software, will benefit enVista as we continue to build out our unified commerce cloud platform capabilities and solutions that enable both physical and digital commerce," Jim Barnes, enVista's CEO, said in a statement.


Mark Roberts

PGi, an Atlanta-based provider of collaboration solutions, appointed Mark Roberts, a former ShoreTel executive, as chief marketing officer.

Most recently, Roberts served as CMO at ShoreTel. Before that, he served in executive marketing roles at Mitel, NextTraq and Polycom.

June McCarthy, who previously led PGi's marketing, is transitioning to become vice president of corporate programs and planning.


JD Carter

PrinterLogic promoted JD Carter to chief marketing officer.

Carter was previously vice president of commercial sales at PrinterLogic, a St. George, Utah-based provider of enterprise print management software solutions.

"As PrinterLogic's fifth employee, JD has played a key role in PrinterLogic's success," Ryan Wedig, CEO of PrinterLogic, said in a statement. "From the time JD joined the team in 2013, he has been a trusted confidant and success-driven leader, helping revenue to grow by an astonishing 1,700 percent."
