March was a big month for big data startups, as four of the fundings on our list went to companies working in next-gen analytics and data warehousing. Fundings for two up-and-coming players in networking also stood out, as did rounds for startups developing offerings for the Internet of Things, machine learning and storage. As far as he investor side goes, New Enterprise Associates was the most active venture capital firm on our list with investments into three of the deals, while Cisco and Google each took part in two of the fundings on our list.

Evrythng

What it does: Creator of an IoT platform that helps enterprises manage "smart" products, by giving each product a digital identity in the cloud during manufacturing
