What does this mean for the distribution side of Synnex?

Once separated, the 229,000-employee Synnex said the new distribution company will still have one of the industry’s most “robust linecards” of products and services, leaving it well positioned to invest in new capabilities and grow its market share. Synnex said the separation will give the distribution company the flexibility it needs to focus on its strategic initiatives.

“SYNNEX Technology Solutions, with approximately $19 billion in annual revenue, will continue as a top three Americas and Japan IT distribution company, providing a comprehensive range of distribution, logistics and integration services for the technology industry,” the company said in a statement.
