Where Channel Star Ken Lamneck Is Placing His Bets In 2019

Insight Enterprises CEO and U.S. Army veteran Ken Lamneck always has his sights on the next big technology wave and how he can transform his solution provider to become an even greater force in the channel.

"This next ten-year cycle that we are going into around enterprise data is really exciting for the channel. We're going to see some of the best years ever in the industry over the next ten years," said Lamneck, president and CEO of Tempe, Ariz.-based Insight Enterprises in an interview with CRN.

Lamneck, who has held top roles at Arrow Electronics and Tech Data over his stellar career, has driven consistent growth since taking over the reins in 2010 including a recent acquisition spree. Insight won numerous 'Partner of The Year' awards in 2018 from the likes of Dell EMC, Microsoft and Red Hat. With Lamneck leading the way, the $6.7 billion channel powerhouse rose to No. 12 on CRN's 2018 Solution Provider 500, while also making CRN's 2018 IoT Innovators Awards.
