Adverity, a data intelligence platform provider, has achieved AWS Digital Customer Experience Competency, making it the first Austrian company to secure the designation as a launch partner, it said.

The Vienna-based Adverity earned the designation in the Customer 360 technology track, which recognizes its technical and business capabilities in delivering solutions for actionable customer data with relevant business metrics and near real-time decision support.

Adverity’s platform, which helps organizations make marketing decisions, integrates data from hundreds of advertising, commerce, customer relationship management and analytics platforms, and augments that data with artificial intelligence (AI).

Launched in 2015, Adverity is focused on PreSense, its latest AI-powered product, which is under closed beta testing for select clients and will be launched later this year.

Privacy Tech Startup WireWheel Obtains AWS Security Competency

Privacy technology startup WireWheel has obtained the AWS Security Competency.

The two-year-old, Arlington, Va., company, which has a SaaS platform for global data compliance, provides privacy tools to help small and medium-sized businesses and enterprises develop and deploy complex security projects on AWS. It specializes in enabling the building or retrofitting of privacy-by-design principles into product or service development and delivery.

Its new AWS competency acknowledges its "privacy program in a box" platform and expertise in privacy, data science and security as it helps customers with privacy-related cloud security, according to WireWheel.

"Achieving AWS Security Competency status reinforces our ability to provide AWS customers with the ability to share privacy-related insights across their entire organization and…additional insights that are unique to the security professionals' perspective, enabling the team sport approach that modern privacy compliance requires,” Justin Antonipillai, WireWheel’s founder and CEO, said in a statement.
