4 New IBM Security Launches Primed For ‘The Hybrid Cloud Era’
Wade Tyler Millward
As IBM seeks to advance past legacy security approaches, the company announced new cloud and hybrid cloud security services that offer expanded opportunities for partners.

Assistance With Cloud Security Posture Management
IBM partners and customers now have access to new services to help design and implement a cloud security posture management solution (CSPM) to address governance and compliance across multiple cloud service providers, the company said.
This is a single solution for compliance and governance policy framework design, CSPM system integration and managed services, according to IBM. Customers can receive recommendations for compliance-related issues and use automation for monitoring and remediation, the company said.
Other recent investments from IBM in expanding CSPM services include making its Cloud Security and Compliance Center generally available last fall. The center allows IBM Cloud users to implement controls for continuous assessment of cloud security and compliance posture, apply rules to enforce configuration standardization across accounts and find suspicious activity across apps and accounts.
