Consultants And Dashboard For Container Security
IBM consultants are now available to assess existing container environments, review application designs and solution requirements and help build roadmaps for future deployments, the company said.
IBM Managed Security Services provides a single dashboard to manage and monitor containers across images, registries, orchestrators and cloud service providers. And a new integration with IBM Security X-Force Red vulnerability management helps identify, analyze and rank thousands of vulnerabilities in container environments to prioritize remediation, IBM said. X-Force Red is IBM’s autonomous team of veteran hackers who break into organizations to uncover vulnerabilities.
In a recent blog post, IBM Senior Software Engineer Shripad Nadgowda said the company has invested in creating more security tools such as the Code Risk Analyzer--for cloud-native development practices like containers and microservices--because security teams aren’t large enough to keep up with rapidly evolving, decentralized applications.
