As IBM seeks to advance past legacy security approaches, the company announced new cloud and hybrid cloud security services that offer expanded opportunities for partners.

Enhanced Cloud Security Strategy Services
IBM announced it has also enhanced its hybrid, multi-cloud security assessment and strategy advisory services--enabling improved assessment of cloud workloads and services’ security posture, as well as bringing recommended ways to address risks. The services can customize a security strategy and maturity roadmap based on business and regulatory needs, IBM said.
Ultimately, with the latest IBM Security updates, the company is positioned to expand its work with partners such as Boca Raton, Fla.-based Flagship Solutions Group, according to Flagship CEO Mark Wyllie. The solution provider, an IBM Gold Business Partner, expects to see double-digit growth in its IBM Security revenue in 2021, year-over-year, Wyllie told CRN. The updates announced this week “show more of a focus on being able to channel-enable IBM Security,” Wyllie said.
