Here are a variety of ways solution providers can help their employees and their customers safely get through the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.

Communicate, Then Communicate More

Communication is key to safely getting through the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic and then back to whatever the new normal is after the outbreak passes.

Internally, keep employees up-to-date on changes to the business and the impacts of such changes. Let them know of any resources that may be available to support them during the pandemic. And consider new ways to keep employees engaged with each other to help them feel less isolated, such as a regular video conference without discussing work, or a social media account just for them.

Externally, pass as much useful information to clients as possible. It could be information about new services they might be able to use during the pandemic, of course. But it could also include safety and health information related to COVID-19. Encourage clients to stay at home and avoid contact with others. And occasionally pass them some good news or even cat videos so they don't feel so isolated.
