Will you expand the number of partners offering BlueData once the deal is closed?

I can't comment on some of the specifics until the deal is closed. We expect that to happen in our first quarter [which ends Jan. 31]. BlueData has a marquee set of customers: GlaxoSmithKline, Nasdaq and a number of pretty big customers in the financial services industry.

We are definitely going to take a pretty prescriptive approach to the market and the customer segments that we are going to sell this into. That will drive the channel model for this type of solution. Not everyone in the world needs this type of solution. It is for customers that are certainly using these big data, fast data, AI application models. We want to target those customers specifically—certainly financial services, health care, government, manufacturing. We have a lot of opportunities in connected car and car automation. So any customers using those techniques and the midsize enterprise data-centric customer is who we are going after, and that is going to drive the channel opportunity.

I definitely see expansion [of the BlueData channel]. It is not going to be a shotgun blast at first. We are going to be very prescriptive about the markets we want to go and capture and the customers that we want to make successful. That is going to drive our channel plan.
