Can you talk about the HPE road map and vision for the BlueData EPIC software product set?

For us we want to provide scalable, intelligent infrastructure for customers that are running these applications. Look at our announcement around intelligent storage [this week at HPE Discover in Madrid]. We are providing a set of experiences for customers that are essentially giving you full-stack analytics: your app, hypervisor, server, networking and storage infrastructure. We want to be able to provide that same experience for our customers running these specific big data applications: fast data for streaming and AI and ML applications.

I see a very clear path for our channel partners to sell this as an elastic experience. So big data and analytics, and even AI and ML apps as a service through our GreenLake initiative.

The battleground for these applications right now is whether they are going to be on-prem or off-prem. If we can provide an experience for customers that is very similar to public cloud but is on-prem, I think we'll hit a home run.

Lastly, we see just a ton of opportunity in this growing big data and analytics space. The world is ours to go take over in this space. BlueData is a key part of that.
