Helping Customers Drive Insight From Their Data

There’s growth in helping customers drive insight from their data and from their information. There is growth in making sure that we can do that wherever that data is.

That market [along with cloudifying the experience for customers] is exploding and growing at double digits. That is where we see the opportunity.

It is really stitched into the fabric of the company to be evolving the whole time. We are making changes at an even greater pace so we have an evolved coverage model. We are making investments in specialists aligned to the consumption business.

Partners need to evolve their business from one in which they sell big deals which they renew every three years to one in which they are selling a service. So they need to be investing in new areas of expertise.

So it’s no longer about, ‘How do I architect storage?’ it is about ‘How do you drive insight from your data?’

Then there is the explosion of data at the edge. Partners need to pick their investments. We can help them determine the pacing and sequencing of when those markets are going to come into view, how big is the opportunity and when and where to invest.
