Displays That Are Easy On The Eye

NEC combines a reasonable price point ($389.99 est. street price) with nice energy efficiency, good thermodynamics and fine performance into one box. The 22-inch screen is bright and needed very little calibration out of the box.

Samsung's SyncMaster 2493HM provides 24 inches of viewable screen real estate into one display, tilt and pivot capabilities and nice performance. With street prices ranging from $445 to $485, VARs can make a good ROI case for customers who would like to be more productive by being able to see and reach more applications at the same time.

Deep burgundy in color, with a polished frame finish, strong in performance and with an MSRP of $349, the 22-inch T220 gives VARs a nice option to show customers seeking something different without much compromise. The T220 performed well in calibration testing and showed itself to be nicely energy efficient in the Test Center lab, as well.

The ViewSonic VP2250wb comes in at the higher end of the pricing spectrum ($559), but its performance, energy efficiency, and fit and finish give VARs a more than viable option for high-performance-seeking customers. Especially in upgrade scenarios, this is a display worth considering.
