Xerox Rolls Out Five Printers For SMBs

In an effort to broaden its portfolio of document imaging solutions for the small business and midmarket customer, Xerox on Wednesday launched five new products in the laser printer and MFP spaces, such as the Phaser 3635MFP, pictured left.

The Norwalk, Conn.-based company also enhanced its Peak Partner Program, adding a new segment for both IT resellers and copier dealers who want access to MFP solutions. The Advanced MFD Partner Program combines aspects of the Peak reseller program and Xerox's copier dealer program.

The Phaser 3100 MFP comes in at the low-end of Xerox's new solutions with speeds of up to 21 pages-per-minute and features including: scan to e-mail, a full keyboard for the fax directory and Optical Character Recognition software to convert scanned documents into searchable files.

The Phaser 3100 MFP starts at $279.

For individual users and small work groups Xerox has brought the Phaser 3250 laser printer to market.

Starting at $279, the device features double-sided printing and can print up to 30 pages-per-minute.

The Phaser 3600 Laser Printer can print at speeds of up to 40 pages-per-minute and comes with a standard one-year warranty that can be extended to three years.

With advanced security features and Xerox CentreWare Internet Service technology, the Phaser 3600 is designed for work groups and starts at $549.

The Phaser 5550 is the high end of Xerox's laser printer release. With the PhaserSmart online troubleshooting tool and print speeds of up to 50 pages-per-minute, this printer is idea for larger work groups.

With the ability to produce tabloid-sized printouts, both double- or single-sided, the Phaser 5550 starts at $1,999.

Starting at $1,799, the Phaser 2625 MFP can print at speeds of up to 35 pages-per-minute and includes security options like image overwriting, encryption and authentication tools.
